Podcasts are a great way to take in new information, gain new insight and take time for yourself. Whether you are driving to a destination or walking to nowhere, podcasts take you on a journey. Right now, we are currently listening to a variety of podcasts that help us with self-reflection and teach us about resilience.

Here is a list of five inspiring podcasts in no particular order:

Chelsea Handler: Life Will Be the Death of Me: Chelsea Handler has recently been processing her early life experiences and how they impact her patterns and behaviours. This podcast is a spin-off of her newest book, Life Will Be the Death of Me. This podcast is a mix of humour and insight, with guests ranging from psychiatrist Dan Siegel to Connie Britton.

Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations: Oprah’s always been a curator of wonder and insight. This podcast, as stated in the title has a nice mix of spiritual conversations with the likes of Caroline Myss and focus on activism with young activists like Amandla Stenberg. This podcast is a great way to listen to folks you already know, and learn about folks you don’t.

Beautiful Anonymous: Have you ever wanted to have an authentic conversation and worried identifying yourself would have an impact? This weekly podcast has anonymous conversations on topics such as living with experiences with trauma, grief and overcoming hardships. Sometimes these episodes are studio-recorded, and others are recorded in front of a live studio audience.

Soul Compass with Vitina Blumenthal: Vitina has a calm and warm voice and presence. Each podcast begins with centering, grounding the listener to be in a space to engage in learning about topics ranging from following your intuition and believing your abundance. The I Am Resilient team had the pleasure of meeting her at a retreat and she is such a compassionate and special human.

Where Should We Begin? With Esther Perel: Esther Perel is a well-known couples therapist who takes you through a live couples therapy sessions each episode. Each episode is reflective, insightful and raw. This is a great podcast for anyone who is in a relationship.
