Wow! Have you ever had an experience where an idea lands in your brain and it provides you with the craziest amount of energy and momentum? This is what happened to me recently and that is how this project came to be.

Rough Start

I had a crappy start to 2019. I was anxious and sad. I had a lot going on and didn’t feel like myself. I felt dull, which is the opposite of who I am. But, at the end of winter, something changed in me!

When goal setting for 2019 I chose the word RESILIENT to be my word of the year. I didn’t know how that was going to show up in my life and knew that when it did, it would be special.

I also proclaimed I wanted to write a book. I thought I would write about entrepreneurship or startup life. Perhaps it would be about all of my adventures? These weren’t ideas that were full percolated yet so I shelved them (for now).

A Shift Happened

I attended the Re/Form Conference in Squamish, B.C. this past March. It was after attending the Soulful Entrepreneur workshop with Jacqueline Jennings and Bree Melanson that I felt like I came back to life. I felt lighter. I felt inspired. I began to feel like myself again. Thank you, ladies.

A few days later I woke up with a burst of energy and knew what my purpose was. I was going to be a champion of resiliency. I was going to hold an event in Whistler to raise funds an awareness for Whistler Community Services Society AND I was going to curate stories of resiliency and publish them in a book and online.

Launch

So, here we are…launching the website to help me gather stories of resiliency. My goal is to have the book printed just in time for the holiday season. Please help me spread the word to help tell the stories of our fellow humans. We are all in this life together so let’s all be there for one another.
