My advice is this: believe in yourself, be selfish and take time for yourself, ground yourself daily, eat well and be forgiving. Cancer is not an invader, it is part of you.”

The lump in my throat had been there for over a year and the doctors thought it was a cyst; so when my surgeon said “I don’t know how to tell you this…” my heart skipped a beat and I felt as though I was in another body. That was the second my journey began.

At first it was dark, very dark. But the prospect of the treatment the doctors were prescribing: being cut, burnt and poisoned not to mention loss of voice, stroke, loss of jaw and teeth…

I told my doctor I would heal myself with food. He laughed at me! I caused this, I thought, I will fix this. I remember sitting in front of twenty or so doctors as they told me my treatment options and I thought NO!!!

The choice was obvious to me: keep my immune system intact! I researched extensively. I juiced, supplemented, ate raw and organic, cleared every chemical from my home and most of all cleared my mind of negatives! After raising 5 children, I focused on myself for once. I became thinner, stronger, healthier and alive. My doctors couldn’t believe how amazing I looked.

My advice is this: believe in yourself, be selfish and take time for yourself, ground yourself daily, eat well and be forgiving . Cancer is not an invader, it is part of you.
