Radical Resilience

As many of us in North America are in week seven of staying at home, practicing physical distancing, it rightfully is taking a toll on how we are feeling. Feeling the full spectrum of feelings, welcoming and allowing yourself to feel is so important. As the saying goes, you have to “feel it to heal it.”

We are inundated with a lot of news that isn’t necessarily positive or uplifting, and now, more than ever, it is important to highlight stories of resilience and how people have found resilience in tough situations. Many people’s lives have turned upside down since this began, and regardless of what social media tells you, it isn’t only filled with banana bread and Instagram live workouts.

Our Recent Expansion

Recently, I Am Resilient launched a new series on both Facebook and YouTube. This series, called Radical Resilience, is a time where we check in with various folks from around the world about how they are staying resilient. No matter what role you are in, we want to hear from you. Whether you are adjusting to working from home in isolation, or adjusting to working from home while parenting, and now also teaching your children on top of that, we know that this isn’t easy. For some folks, their businesses are dependent on conferences and speaking engagements, which have also shifted significantly. We also want to hear from you.

If you are interested in participating in our Radical Resilience series, reach out to us on Instagram, Facebook or leave a comment below this post. Your message and feelings are valid, and we want to provide a space for people within our community to share knowledge with each other. Additionally, our submission remains open for the I Am Resilient Project, so if you are ready to share your story with us, submit it on our submission page

Are you ready to share your story of RESILIENCE? You can do that HERE.
