Congratulations, if you are reading this, you have survived 2020.

Goal setting for 2021 is a little bit different than in past years. Knowing that we may need to pivot and that the universe can throw us plot twist after plot twist, we are keeping our goals specific and achievable. In fact, we have rolled over a few 2020 goals into the new year so that we can hit some major milestones for the community.

So, what do we have planned for the new year?

GOALS

Write more than one newsletter. The goal is to send out a newsletter once a month but we only sent out a few over the last year, so this year our goal is to send at least one newsletter a quarter and if you are really lucky, you may notice a few more land in your inbox. Make sure to sign up on our website so you can receive these newsletters.

Spreading our message. Blair is focusing on spreading our message across the globe. You will see her on screens (and maybe stages) over the next year speaking about resilience, the I Am Resilient Project, gratitude and more. Interested in having Blair speak to your group? Connect with her and let’s make some magic happen: blair@iamresilient.info.

(Finally) launch our podcast called Radical Resilience. Our Founder, Blair Kaplan Venables, and our Project Manager, Alana Kaplan, are still planning to bring stories of resilience to your ears. Every story deserves to be told and the conversations that happen around these stories can be life-changing. During the first round of staying safe at home, we started a Radical Resilience interview series which was inspiring and informative. Our podcast will be along the same lines. Check out the interviews here.

Publish the first I Am Resilient book. This project all started with the idea of sharing stories in a beautifully published coffee table style book. We wanted to wrap up 2020 with launching our first book which will showcase 52 stories of resilience but instead we will kick off 2021 with this book. In fact, there are a few spots left if you you’re your story to be featured in print. These stories are from people around the globe and if you submit your story to us we will try and fit you in.

Survive. We will keeping living life, one moment at a time. ‘Nuff said.

Thank you to everyone who shared their stories with us, shared the Project with their community and to all of you who believe in us. We appreciate you. Friends, you are resilient. Happy holidays and Happy New Year. Cheers to achieving goals over the next year.
