Good News is Good For You

As we enter week eight of the pandemic, there is definitely a fatigue that has set in. Whether it be from the amount of news we are receiving, the physical distancing we are experiencing, or the longing to get back to what was; it is fair to say that the Corona fatigue is real. It is so important to continue to appreciate, thank, and respect the frontline workers by remaining physically distant and following the rules. As the weather gets warmer in North America, more and more people are becoming more relaxed in their interpretations of the rules.

Look, I get it. I want to be with the people I care about too. That being said, we need to remain cautious and vigilant until we are told by health officials otherwise. Finding good news within the myriad of difficult news is just as important for us to hear/read. This article highlights a few “good news” stories from across the world and places where you can find good news.

  • In Edmonton, Alberta, an 80-year-old woman recovered from Covid and sleep in her own bed after five weeks in the hospital. Read the full article here.

  • After being stranded in Spain, a driver volunteers to drive the long drive for this Italian student back home for free. Read the full article here.
