I knew I had to leave after 28 years when staying felt like a betrayal of my deepest truth—a truth I could no longer ignore, even if that truth meant facing the unknown.

From Heartbreak to Healing

In my early twenties, I found a love that felt like home—a bond that spoke to the core of who I was. He was my soulmate, my best friend, a partner who felt like a reflection of everything I wanted to become. Our connection felt fated, pulling me toward a life of depth, intimacy, and shared dreams. Imagine meeting someone who accepts and loves you for all you are, even after a past marked by chaos and instability. That was the gift I thought I’d found.

After four years, we decided to marry and buy a house. I thought it was the natural next step, aligning my beliefs around partnership and commitment. We poured ourselves into our relationship, convinced that love would see us through. He was my husband, and we built a life, a business, and a family together. Yet after a decade in business, once we’d sold it, I felt a shift, an unraveling of the shared path that had once connected us. Our values and visions no longer lined up, and I was left wondering what would fill the space between us.

After being burnt out from our business, we focused on living a healthy lifestyle.  My husband soon turned to a new passion—running. This hobby became an outlet that extended beyond him; it became a bridge to someone else. His connection to his coach grew into an emotional bond, a parallel relationship where he was present and fully invested. I was left to watch from the sidelines, feeling a distance between us that I couldn’t ignore.

As the years passed, I became increasingly anxious and unsure, constantly compromising my own needs and desires to keep the peace. Each day felt like a subtle betrayal of myself. I’d lost my place in our story, and I knew it was time to choose differently, to reclaim my own path.

So, I gathered my things and moved to a separate space within our home. That night, as I sat alone, I felt a depth of loss and heartbreak that shook me to my core. It was bewildering to accept that he wasn’t going to fight for us.  How could someone who supposedly loved me didn’t even want to fight for our marriage? I knew then that he had given up.  The love I thought was our foundation had faded into silence.

In the aftermath, I withdrew; I isolated myself, turning inward, replaying every moment in search of answers. My self-worth plummeted as I grappled with why I hadn’t seen this coming or allowed myself to drift so far from my own truth. But in the depths of that fog, something profound began to awaken in me—a deeper knowing that if I wanted a life aligned with my true self, I would have to create it myself.

But one day, something changed.  I began to sense intuitively that my husband didn’t have my best interests at heart, and I couldn’t keep living like this.  And so I began a healing journey, diving into self-discovery to understand how I’d arrived at this place and how I could rebuild. I read extensively, sought therapy, and studied the dynamics of relationships and our energetic code, self-love, and self-worth. Through this work, I learned to reconnect with my inner self to value my own voice and needs.

I regained my strength with time and saw I wasn’t alone in this journey. I reconnected with friends, started pursuing my passions again, and rebuilt my self-esteem. I realized that many others faced similar battles, caught in cycles of self-doubt and unhealthy patterns in their relationships, unable to see their own worth.

Realizing I could use my experience to help others, I found my calling as a relationship coach. Drawing from my own experiences of emotional betrayal and self-renewal, I now help conscious midlife men and women build relationships grounded in self-love, authenticity, and respect. My purpose is to empower them to break free from cycles of pain and trauma to create connections that are aligned with their true values and vision, and to create a healthy lifestyle.

My guidance is simple yet powerful for those going through similar transitions: trust your intuition, and don’t compromise your worth. True healing comes when we honor the truth within, embracing the journey to create a life—and love—that reflects who we are at our deepest level.
