As the seasons turn, Netflix releases new series, documentaries and movies. As I write this, it is gloomy outside and snow is heavily falling. This means it’s the perfect time to share what I’ve been watching the past few months on Netflix. While I encourage you to spend time outdoors, it is definitely okay to have a balance of both inside and outside winter experiences.

What We Are Watching on Netflix: Winter Edition

Cheer

Cheer is a docuseries show that follows the Navarro Cheer team on their road to Daytona, which is where a massive cheerleading competition is held each April. What I love about Cheer is learning about the different backstories of the team members, and how they come into their own being and find themselves on this team.

Grace and Frankie

A classic, Grace and Frankie is a comedy about an elderly duo who are navigating their lives post-separation from their partners and navigating the signs of aging. Starring Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda, I am never not smiling when I am watching this show. This show has six seasons, with the latest season coming out this past January.

#Cats The Mewvie

A new documentary from February 2020, this documentary highlights the stories of famous cats on Instagram. If you read the previous post on Instagram animals I adore (link) you will come to know why I loved this documentary so much. I found this documentary to be heartwarming.

The Good Place

Ok, I have to admit that I watched this as it aired on TV. Exploring what happens after death, this comedy tackles the idea of what happens to you after you die based on the life you lived when alive. I put this on the list because the final season just aired, and the series finale of The Good Place was one of the best finales I’ve ever watched.

These are only a selection of what I’ve been watching this winter. What have you watched? Let me know by commenting below!
